Who Am I? | March 10, 2010

I attended a college that currently has 14 former players in the National Basketball Association. Not many schools have that many in the Association. Some of those guys were my teammates. I am not one of them to play in the NBA. All time my alma mater has graduated 75 guys to NBA.

College Basketball Splinters | March 8, 2010

Marquette coach, Buzz Williams and Brey must have had similar game plans. Both teams entered play shooting better than 40 percent from behind the three-point arc (both in the nation's top ten). Both teams shot less than 20 percent Saturday. Notre Dame went 3 of 21 (14.3%). Marquette hit 4 of 23 (17.4%).

Personal Fouls and the Sliding Fortunes of the Villanova Wildcats

Only days prior they easily defeated Notre Dame. Analysts praised Wright and pointed to a deep bench that the ninth-year coach deftly deployed to his team's advantage. Using ten players at least ten minutes or more, Wright continued encouraging aggressive play from his soldiers. There seemed to be no consequence for playing an attacking style.

West Virginia-Villanova: Tale Of The Tape

Villanova’s offense starts with Scottie Reynolds. The senior guard is at his best when he can exploit open lanes to the basket. He is adept at drawing contact and finishing. Reynolds scores almost 19 a game with 3.4 assists and 2.6 turnovers. Reynolds hits 41.6 percent from behind the three-point arc. He will need success from long range to spread out the West Virginia defense.
