Hard to argue with Van Tatenhove after that impressive display. I'm looking at senior forward Kelly Cavallo from SJU as my performance of the week. She scored in double figures for both games this week, including an upset victory over Charlotte that has her Hawks in position to earn a first round bye in the A-10 tournament. She shot 67% from the field, and altered numerous shots in both victories. She keyed a huge second half run in the victory over Charlotte. Last years Patrica Ryan Unsung Hero recipient deserves some credit for her Hawks being were they are

Agreed. The success in this team is not from one or two great players, but the depth of talent on this team. It is an extremely unselfish team that can end up having a different player rise to the challenge each night.

Yesterday was definitely Van Tatenhove's day.. The first 8 minutes of the game by the senior was possibly the most dominant performance I have seen all season.

yea me either. I mean, a guy without any ACL's will certainly be limited, but he seems to be a solid player. Just doesn't really fit the mold of any position. Is he an undersized center? A less athletic PF?

I, too, like Blair. Your numbers bear out what I have thought when watching him play. Not sure why he seems to be a liability.

There are a lot of weapons in that Bonnie lineup. Jenkins scores just seven, and they still win by 18. Bona ripped Xavier's heart out.

Haha. well played Smitty. CP3 and Rondo are proven studs, the next step in the progression. First you show promise (Rubio and Lin) then you deliver on promise

So I am curious - if Lin and Rubio are studs, what are Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo? :-)

Enjoying the ride with Lin for now. It is always a good thing when a guy with a Harvard education can hold his own in The Association. At the very least, we shouldn't have to worry about him paying his bills in the future.

Great point Pete. Right now, there does seem to be a gap between the top and everyone else. Kentucky and Syracuse have done a good job of avoiding any hiccups. Not sure how that converts to success in March. Missouri? Frank Haith didn't find Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard when he arrived in the show-me state.
