Nico Coria led Honeoye Falls-Lima to the Monroe County Division IV crown and top seed in Class A2. Felipe Hanuch guided Brighton to the top seed in Class A1. Evan Pirnie helped Hilton to its first divisional crown in more than a decade. Tyler Lewandowski filled Greece Arcadia’s scoring void, and Eastridge’s Matt Stefaniw topped the individual scoring lists. For those efforts, the quintet garnered Monroe County Player of the Year honors.
Coria recorded 10 shutouts on the season for HF-L (16-3-0) to run his two-year total to 24 clean sheets. The senior goalkeeper made 85 saves on the season for the Cougars which reached No. 12 in the NYSSWA rankings on their way to winning the division title.
Coria and Stefaniw shared Monroe County Division IV honors. Stefaniw netted 22 goals and added 11 assists to lead all Monroe County League scorers. The senior finished with a two-year total of 44 goals for Eastridge (9-8-0).
Coria was joined on the first team by teammates David Goetz, Parker Hotchkiss and Tanner Smith. Eastridge’s Jordon LeBlanc and Tyler Tryt accompanied Stefaniw. Greece Odyssey’s Dylan Ange and Parker Ange earned first-team nods as did Greece Olympia’s Azis Lomidze and Jeff Semple. Batavia’s Stephen Gilberto rounded out the division IV first team.

Hanuch, who was named Monroe County Division III Player of the Year, scored 15 goals and collected nine assists for Adam Hiller’s Brighton Barons (15-3-0) which won 11 straight and climbed to as high as No. 3 in the NYSSWA poll. His goal in the Class A1 semi-finals made it to ESPN’s SportsCenter’s Top 10.
Brighton’s Brady McDermott and Sam O’Connor earned first-team honors along with Hanuch. Brockport (16-2-2/8-1-1) took the Division III and Section V Class A1 titles. Zachary Langelotti, Ben Leach, Peyton Young, Colby Wharram and Zach Wharram represented the Blue Devils on the first-team. CJ Takatch and Dylan Rice represented Greece Athena on the first team as did Pittsford Mendon’s Matt Bamford and Charles Shi. Will Graupman and John Mozrall, from the NYS Class A semi-finalist Pittsford Sutherland, rounded out the Monroe County Division III first team.
Greece Arcadia head coach Matt Vergamini wondered where his team would find its offensive production after the graduations of Anthony Cupello and Rhys Levesque from last year’s sectional finalist. Lewandowski answered his coach’s distress signal. The junior attacker matched Stefaniw with a league-leading 22 goals to go with six assists.
Fellow Titans Chris Collili and Carter Englert joined Lewandowski on the first team. Churchville-Chili (12-4-1/9-0-1) claimed the Monroe County Division II crown. Saints Colby Egan, Cam Shuman, Alex Voglewede and Parker Zah were named to the first-team squad. Spencerport’s Ajan Rajamohan and Josh Reding earned first-team nods as did Webster Schroeder’s Colin Merkey and Alex Ortiz along with Kyle Sicke and Ben Uetz from Webster Thomas. West Irondequoit’s Mason DeLuca rounded out the first team.
Division I Player of the Year Pirnie tallied 10 goals and added 12 assists for Mike Ellicott’s Hilton Cadets (14-4-1/9-2-0) which won their first league title since 2003 and advanced to the Class AA final. Hilton reached as high as No. 7 in the NYSSWA poll.
Fellow Cadets Justin Arilotta, Noah Malta and David Stirpe joined Pirnie on the first team. Fariport’s Christopher Barker, Jon Flannery, Bobby Guilfoil and Brandon Manz nabbed first-team selections. Gates-Chili’s Adoniadis Savidis earned first-team honors as did Penfield’s Oleg Savka and Jackson Vogt. Rush-Henrietta’s Justin James and Zein Mohamed also earned first-team nods as well as Victor’s Ethan Ashe.

Mike Ellicott (Hilton), John Mahoney (Churchville-Chili), Mike Merrill (HF-L) and Chris Zorn (Brockport) were named Coaches of the Year.
