Kyle Gibson lasted four innings for the Twins, letting up four runs, eight hits and three walks.

HOUSTON, TX– Joey Gallo plated three runs in the Rangers’ win over the AL West leading Astros. A.J. Griffin allowed only one earned run (two runs overall) on six hits and one walk in five innings for the Rangers. Marwin Gonzalez contributed two hits and two RBI for the Astros. Joe Musgrove was knocked out after four innings and five runs (four earned), five hits and three walks allowed.

KANSAS CITY, MO– Jose Abreu, Avisail Garcia and Cody Asche each drove in two runs for the White Sox to remain tied with the Indians for first place in the AL Central. Ian Kennedy remains winless after going four-and-one-third innings and give up five runs (four earned) on six hits and one walk.

CHICAGO, IL– A Freddy Galvis error allowed Albert Almora Jr. to score the walk-off run for the Cubs. Chicago’s John Lackey was tagged with three runs on nine hits allowed in five innings. Maikel Franco provided the Phillies with two RBI on two hits. Zach Eflin tossed seven innings, giving up three runs on nine hits.

SAN DIEGO, CA– Ryan Hanigan finished his 3-for-5, two RBI game with a bases-loaded infield single to plate the eventual game winning run. Kyle Freeland held the Padres to one run on three hits and two walks in six-and-one-third innings. Luis Perdomo matched Freeland, allowing one run on five hits and two walks in six innings.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL– Tim Beckham plated four runs on a pair of two-run home runs in the Rays’ 10th home win of the year. Dan Straily ate up five innings for the Marlins, surrendering four runs on three hits and five walks.

SEATTLE, WA– Danny Valencia put together four hits and three RBI for the Mariners as the Angels fall to 6-11 on the road.
