Dan Hayes scored 21, and David O’Connell posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead HF-L. James Segar and Tyler Selke added eight points apiece for the Cougars. Monroe’s Chris Gibson hit three 3-pointers and finished with 20 points.  Rayshawn Boswell scored 19.

Miles Brown netted 25, and Matthew Medeiros added 20 as Northstar grabbed a 50-27 advantage at half and held on to win. Michael Brown chipped in 11. Early College’s Bryan Harrell led all scorers with 26. Jagdeep Drumgoole had 14, and Jermer Murrell 15.

Reid Patchett collected nine points, seven rebound and three blocks to lead Geneva which had 10 players contribute in the scoring column. Adrian Porter added nine. SOTA’s Mecca Anderson hit four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points.

Batavia (13-7) 50
Brian Sharp connected three times behind the arc and finished with 17 points to lead Newark. Ben Cowles added 14. Newark erased a 12-point (22-10) halftime deficit. Tee Sean Ayala hit six from behind the arc and paced Batavia with 22 points. Antwan Odom had 14.

Marcus Whitman (17-3) 45
Livonia’s Reid VanScoter led four in double figures  with 16 points. Mark Brado and Devante Gwyn chipped in 13 apiece. Ron Loomis had 11.   Burlin Allen scored 14 for Marcus Whitman. Riley McLoud and Nick Young had 11 apiece.

Wayne’s Braeden Zenelovic converted 10 of 12 free throws and finished with 23 points. The Eagles hit 14 of 16 from the charity stripe in the fourth quarter. Billy Thomson hit seven of eight from the line and finished with nine points. Hunter VanDeVelde had 18 for Pal-Mac.

Justice Smith collected 19 points, five assists and four steals for Lyons. Devin Franklin had 10 points, six rebounds and five steals.  Kerel Kelly had 10 points, and Ben Rockefeller 13. Enrique Mosman scored 22 for Gananda.
