It is that time again. Let’s hear from you readers. We had another week of stellar performances. Pick the ONE that stands out to you, and tell us a story.

Call them the Dutch. Call them them the Netherlands. Call them Holland. Call them whatever you want, I am calling them my POTW.

Wesley Sneidjer scored in the 68th minute as the Dutch pulled off the improbable. They beat Brazil after trailing at half 1-0. Brazil had never lost a World Cup game after leading at half. The Brazilians had only lost once once in their history when scoring first.

It did not matter. The Dutch rallied and downed the #1 team in the world to advance to the semi-finals.

Who gets your POTW?

My POTW nominee is Justin Rose, who won the AT&T National. Rose hit every green in regulation on the back nine and closed with seven straight pars for an even-par 70 to win for the second time in his past three starts on the PGA Tour. This guy’s good … will soon win a major.

Honorable Mention goes to Germany’s World Cup team for just looking so COMPLETELY DOMINANT this past week. Now will they be able to carry that over to the Final 4 ???
