It is that time again. Let’s hear from you readers. We had another week of stellar performances.  Pick the ONE that stands out to you, and tell us a story.

Just in case you have not gotten sick of hearing it: “The Butler did it!”

Yeah, West Virginia’s Da’Sean Butler earns my POTW.

Finishing the Big East tournament with 59 points, 20 rebounds, 10 assists is one thing. But to score two dramatic baskets is another thing. Butler hit the winner against Cincinnati as the buzzer sounded. For an encore, two nights later, the senior power forward burned Georgetown with a dagger in the last ten seconds of the game.

Who gets your POTW?

Ernie Els for coming alive again!! I thought he was playing on the champions tour… He looks old for 41 and walks old too…

    Still though my POTW…

My POTW goes to any NCAA team that HAD to win their conference tournament in order to get the auto invite to the Big Dance … like the Houston Cougars. Way to rise to the occasion!

Dan, Good call on Ernie Els! The Big Easy was back in form over the weekend. Apparently he re-dedicated himself this.offseason. It certainly was evident over the weekend. For me, I am going with the Washington Capitals who won a HUGE gam yesterday coming back from a 3-0 deficit in the third period to win 4-3 in OT. Adding to it was the fact that their best player – Alexander Ovechkin was ejected in the first for a nasty hit. Sorry Wally….
