Unfortunately this has a very sad ending. On Saturday, Howard - starting cornerback for the Huskies was credited with 11 tackles, caused a key fumble late in the game and even recovered the fumble, helping the Huskies beat Louisville 38-25. Later that night at a school dance, Howard was tragically stabbed and died from his injuries. Premliminary report show that Howard was trying to help stop a fight between some students and non-students. The result is tragic.
