Yeah - Morrison was never known for his defense, even as a Zag. Which is why he'll probably never average minutes like you'd expect a third overall pick to average.

I think Dunleavy has close to no say in this situation. In my opinion, Sterling sees dollar signs in Iverson. Only someone has to tell him that it isn't 2001.

I really like the Pacers. And it's funny because I hated Hansbrough in college but kind of look forward to him as an NBA player especially with the Pacers. I think this will be the year Bird makes a move with one of his PGs. Don't forget that they have Roy Hibbert as well. Sometimes it takes a few years in the league for 7 footers to develop. But along with the emergence of Granger as a legit first option, I like the Pacers.

Maybe Phil can teach Morrison some of the basic fundamentals of team defense. Did you notice Morisson completely turning his back to the ball on that one play? Holy Crap! Hey Adam, I guess you have a lot of confidence that your teammate will take away the dribble.

Jefferson on the floor with Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan could be rather enjoyable to watch.

I am surprised Dunleavy would venture into the Iverson waters. Maybe he doesn't have that much say in personnel moves.

Dahntay getting the four-year deal...nice. What is this? His third contract in the NBA? He averages 5 points and 1 assist per game - how does this earn a contract? Defense!

Bird is assembling a good, young nucleus - Dunleavy Jr., Jamaal Tinsley, TJ Ford, Travis Diener - and then drafting Hansbrough. Those guys tote lunch pails to work. They should be fun to watch.

Patrick, are you even aware that Shaun Livingston plays for OKC and not the Clippers?
