Yes, the pinstripes continued winning…when the weather allowed. Rain has made itself frequent companion of late – good for the lawns, and good if you like doubleheaders. Webster will have to stare at a few double dips in July.

The week started with Webster falling from grace. Through six games Yankee hurlers had allowed nine runs – only six were earned. Tuesday, Webster gloves committed five errors and the pinstripes fell to Hornell, 10-6. Webster lost five of six to the Dodgers last year.
