I suppose there came a point Wednesday night when Notre Dame shooting guard, Kyle McAlarney, looked over at his teammate, Luke Haragody, and said to himself: “Something is not right with Gody.”  Little did the senior know at the time, but his teammate was slowed by pneumonia.  Instead of whining and looking to his teammate – the reigning Big East Player of the Year – to pick up the slack, McAlarney decided to put the Irish on his back.   McAlarney finished with 39 points including EIGHT threes in the final 8:37 of a 102-87 loss to #1 UNC.  McAlarney also had six assists for the game.  Call him the Chuck Howley of the POTW, but Kyle McAlarney gets my POTW in a losing effort.

Who gets your POTW?

Going to go with Robin van Persie of Arsenal – who scored 2 huge goals for Arsenal in a 2-1 win over Chelsea. The win might just be what the Gunners need to get back in the race.

I give mine to Plax — uh, I mean Eli Manning. The Redskins completely shut down the Giants running game in the first half, and Eli responds by throwing for 200 yds (in the first half, that is).

Dude – you still haven’t digested that bird yet? Go grab a jumbo size Metamucil or something.

Casey, your wife didn’t make that turkey that Smitty’s talking about throwing up, did she? If so, that should get him a ban from future invites. ;)
