Who am I?

As a starting quarterback in the NFL my teams went 6 and 5 in post-season contests. Two of those wins came on the last game of the season. I was an 8-time Pro Bowler, and twice I was selected First Team All Pro. I led the league in passing TDs one year, passer rating once, pass completion% one time, and net yards per pass attempt one time. I completed 56% of the passes I threw in my career. I won the Bert Bell award, and I have a bust in Canton.

This one is hard because there is no non-statistical information to make one guy the clear answer. It has to be one of two guys. Roger Staubach has to have won more playoff games than that in his career. So I am going with…

    Bob Griese…?

I just realized what an idiot I am if the answer really is Staubach.

Bob Griese is correct. Score one for Rey.

Nice job Rey. Glad you didn’t have to learn that lesson about thinking out loud the hard way. :)

Was Griese REALLY an 8-time Pro Bowler? I didn’t think he made it nearly that many times … just asking.

    Yeah – I was little surprised. He was a Pro Bowler in: ’67, ’68, ’70, ’71, ’73, ’74, ’77, ’78
