How ’bout those Rays?
Nice choice of images, Casey. :~-(
Yeah – didn’t you predict a Sox first-place finish? Can we blame you?
I’d love to be blamed for that, but it’s far from over.
Can the Cubbies play any worse and still maintain 1st place?
I hope Zambrano comes back and feels no pain, and Harden can keep his arm from falling off for another month or two, or the Cubs might be in a little trouble even if they make the playoffs.
Da Cubs better get it together for the home stretch where they play the Mets, Cards, and Brew Crew.
P.S. Can the Jays take all 6 of the games they have left against Boston and become contenders for the AL Wildcard? Not a chance right?
That’s just great – first we have Chas singing praises for the Rays, and now we have ZDubbz chattin’ up the Jays. Geez, what is a Sox fan to do?
Z Dubbz – great to have you back on the Clipboard. We have missed your Yellow Jacket influence.
Can the Jays get back in the hunt for October? How about the Astros? The only thing slowing them down is Ike.
Driving down to a wedding in NJ yesterday, listening to the FAN, the talk was about how Girardi won’t throw in the towel, at least to the media. The consensus was that the Yanks have to win all of their 16 remaining games, and that still doesn’t assure them anything.
I only mention the Yanks to talk about the Jays though. After losing last night to the Sox, I’d say they need to win at least 5 of the remaining 6 to have a chance.
The Astros are definitely still in the hunt, though, the way the Brewers are faltering.
ZDubbz –
Cubs are fine … don’t worry. Brewers are gagging … just like last year. Don’t be surprised to see the Houston Astros win the wildcard. Yes … the ‘stros!!! Weren’t they dead and buried?
Early Heisman watch:
1. Mark Sanchez USC
2. Chase Daniel MIZZ
I had no idea that Sanchez was THAT good. 4TD against the Buckeye defense…wow.
