This week I nominate the US Men’s soccer team who traveled to Cuba and defeated the home squad 1 nil in a World Cup qualifier. The United States has not played futbol on the island of Cuba for over 50 years.

    Aaron Rodgers 18/22, 178 pass yds, 2 TD (1 rushing), 0 INT

I know this is from last night’s game, but I’d forget if I didn’t mention it now. Could Aaron Rodgers have handled the whole off-season mess more graciously? Then the guy steps out on a big stage – Monday night against a division rival – and performs well. I’m rooting for him and the Packers to go above and beyond what everyone is predicting them to do this season.

    A fine choice.
