Dustin Pedroia earns my POTW going 8 for 8 with a walk and 5 runs scored over two games as the Red Sox took the first two of a 3 game set from the Central-Division-leading Chicago White Sox. This barrage came two days after Pedroia connected for his first career ‘grand salami’ helping the Sox take two of three in the Bronx.

Who gets your POTW?

Give it to CC Sabathia for his no hitter today. Wait – what’s that about the scorer at PNC Park?

Gotta give it to Pedroia. Great call. A one man wrecking crew over the weekend. Honorable Mention toJim Thome for tying Mickey Mantle on the all-time HR list.
