Card collecting offers a glimpse into the past at teams or franchises that have either moved or ceased to exist. Today’s focus is on the Seattle Pilots. The Pilots played in the American League for one season -1969 (which also happens to be the first year of divisional play within each of the American and National. Hard to imagine that prior to ’69 the ten teams of the American League did not play in separate divisions). The Pilots played in Sicks Stadium before moving on to Milwaukee to become the Brewers in 1970 .
