…the NHL. Gary Bettman and his crack staff are busy discussing the possibility of another Winter Classic. This should be an annual event.

…the NBA who will hand out fines next year for ‘flopping’. I love soccer, but flopping is easily the worst part of the game. I don’t need to see it on the hard courts.

…the Monroe Community College baseball team which won a school record 41 games this year. The Tribunes finished third in the NJCAA II World Series.

…the good people of Pittsburgh and their ‘sea of white’ at Mellon Arena.

…Hull, Stoke, and West Brom who qualified for play in the Premiership next season.
