It looks like Boston fans should hate the Canadiens as much as the Yankees. Well in theory at least.

Funny you mention the Habs/Yanks comparison. Once was a time when the Canadiens were on par with the Bronx Bombers. What with the four consecutive cups in the late 70′s and all.
I kinda don’t mind their return to prominence. It is almost a return to normalcy sort of thing.
I might actually cheer for Montreal if they get close enough. They might be the only pro sports franchise close enough to stop the Yanks from announcing their number of titles coupled with the comment – the most of any team.

Just wondering what Larry Brown is up to next, after leaving the 76ers as their VP today…
Flu bug has been hitting the Red Saux- normally I would be happy when starters miss a turn because that usually means they are getting rest that will help them later in the year- but missing due to the flu, as most of us know, is NOT restful…
I enjoy the NFL Draft, but I have learned to truly HATE the month long dissection of every possibly direction that every team could conceivably take, when NO ONE really knows what is going to take place…and I pledge not to read a single Draft Report Card that has no meaning at all…
Brown stepped down as VP? Hmmmm…I hear his time share calling his name….NOT!!!!
The NFL Draft is coming??? I haven’t noticed (Please take note of my sarcasm). Anything that stokes Mel Kyper’s inflated sense of self-importance can’t be that worthwhile.
Looks like Larry Brown’s interest is in the Charlotte Bobcats. Figure this one out – he drops the Bobcats as a team that he would be interested in coaching – if the position was available.
Next morning, the axe drops on Sam Vincent – **poof** the position is open. Apparently there isn’t a code amongst coaches..
Since when have they moved the draft to 3? This is ridiculous.. Next year, it will start a 8 pm on a Friday.. So much extra time, we already know what the first 4 picks are going to be . Long, Long, Ryan and Mc Fadden.. PLease get it started .. I can’t listen to Mel Kiper for too much longer on who might take who and where..
